Educational School Tours In October
Attention all Pre-School, JK/SK to Grade Three Teachers. This is our 18th year providing fun, exciting and educational field trips for students. Each tour lasts 45 minutes to an hour, and includes:
- Walking Tour of the Pumpkin Patch
- Demonstration of Growth Cycle of Pumpkins
- Uses of Pumpkins and the Plant
- Historical & Cultural Information About Pumpkins
- Each Child Picks Their Own Oz Pumpkin
- Each Child Receives an Apple as a Snack
- Each Child Receives a Certificate of Participation
and a Coupon for a Free Wagon Ride (Oct. weekends)
The Guides accompany the teacher and students to the field to select the Class Pumpkin. The Market Store is open offering fresh baked pies, 
gingerbread cookies, homemade fudge, fall vegetables, yard decor and more. New this year is The Patch Café, offering specialty coffees, teas, and hot apple cider.
Cost: $5.75 per child/GST included. No charge for teachers, parents, or supervisors.
Minimum Group Size: 12 children (exceptions for Special Needs Classes)
Deposit Required: $69.00 is required to secure the desired time slot for your tour(s). Cheques may be mailed to Box 147, Richmond Hill, ON L4C 4X9, or make payment by credit card as soon as possible after booking. Balance of payment is due on arrival, preferably by cheque, debit or credit card (cash accepted).
Cancellation Policy: Deposits will be fully refunded on trips cancelled at least 7 business days prior to the confirmed trip date. Please note that there are no weather-related refunds, as the tours take place rain or shine.

Prime tour spots fill up quickly especially on P.A. Days. Please contact us early to avoid disappointment. Teachers note that our emphasis prior to Thanksgiving will be on Harvest 
and Thanksgiving traditions, and uses of the pumpkin in relation to this theme. Please consider this time frame as you will be ensured warmer weather, which will in turn enhance your tour experience.
In order to provide the optimum tour experience we ask that you provide accurate information regarding class size, special needs and number of classes arriving. Finalize your numbers 5 business days prior to your tour date, at which time we will confirm your balance owing. You will receive a fax or email to confirm your trip-specify your preference.
